This can include sitting, lying down or simply walking quietly.  <\/p><p>Both methods have their advantages. <strong>Active recovery<\/strong>  <strong>better elimination of lactate, maintenance of blood circulation and reduced muscle soreness. Passive recovery  <\/strong>This will allow the nervous system to rest completely,<strong> improve glycogen resynthesis and reduce mechanical stress.<\/strong><\/p><p>There&#8217;s no one-size-fits-all approach to recovery .<strong>Everyone is different and reacts differently to recovery methods<\/strong>.
